MANHWAHIVE is an independent English-language directory and editorial guide dedicated to Korean comics (manhwa). Our mission is simple: to help English-speaking readers around the world discover high-quality manhwa and decide what to read next.
Who We Are
We are a small team of manhwa readers and editors who believe that Korean comics deserve an easier entry point for international audiences. Every day, countless readers search for their next favorite series — whether it is a sweeping fantasy, a tense thriller, a romance, or an action-packed adventure — and MANHWAHIVE exists to connect those readers with the stories they will love.
What We Do
MANHWAHIVE provides organized, English-language information about manhwa series, including:
- Curated titles, genres, and recommendations;
- Synopses, metadata, and reading guidance written or adapted by our editors;
- Cover images and basic series information to help readers identify works quickly;
- Links that direct readers to official or licensed sources whenever available.
Our content consists of information curation and original editorial writing. We do not host, upload, or distribute full comic chapters, scans, or translated pages on our servers.
Our Mission & Values
- Discovery first. We focus on helping readers find manhwa worth reading.
- Reader trust. We strive for accurate, clearly presented information.
- Respect for creators. We support authors, artists, and licensed platforms, and we respond promptly to legitimate rights-holder concerns.
- Transparency. Our privacy, cookie, and copyright policies are public and written in plain language.
